  • 1. How much is a roll-off container?

    It depends upon the delivery location, the bin size, and the content to be loaded. Please call (323)357-6900 or use our online request form for a quote.

  • 2. What types of payment do you accept?

    We accept American Express, Mastercard, and Visa credit cards.

  • 3. Are there any extra charges?

    $100.00 will be charged if the bin cannot be picked up or delivered when scheduled. $100.00 will be charged if the bin needs to be relocated on the job site. Extra charges apply if the container must be washed out or if the concrete has dried and must be chipped out.


  • 1. How many tons can I put in my rental bin?

    The base price for a 40-yard bin includes six tons. If the weight exceeds this, you will be charged $80 per ton, for each additional ton, up to the 10 ton limit. Bins must weigh less than 10 tons, and cannot be loaded higher than the top of the box. Overweight bins will not be hauled.


  • 1. What am I allowed to put in the bin?

    You may include tree stumps; however, there will be an extra charge to handle them. You can possibly save on extra charges by reducing the stumps to less than 2 feet diameter.

  • 3. What materials are considered hazardous?

    Hazardous materials include: paint, oil, chemicals, petroleum products, asbestos, gardening products, automotive fluids, batteries, household cleaning products, medicines, light bulbs. There is an extra charge for tires. To dispose of hazardous waste see California Integrated Waste Management Board, or contact your city to see if they offer hazardous waste disposal.

  • 4. Define inert materials.

    Inert materials include dirt, concrete, rock, sand, stucco, tile, brick, cinder block, asphalt, rebar, metal, etc.

  • 5. How do you define non-inert materials?

    Non-inert materials include grass, roots, sod, trash, drywall, stucco with paper, asphalt shingles, plastic, green waste, etc.


  • 1. How much space do I need for the bin?

    For a 40-yard container, you will need at least 60 feet lengthwise, and at least 12 feet in width. This will allow our delivery truck room to maneuver as it drops off and picks up the container.

  • 2. Do I need a permit?

    In most cities, you do need a permit to place the bin on the street. To get a permit, visit your city's Public Works website. You do not need a permit if the bin will be located on your property.

AB 341
In October of 2011, Assembly Bill (AB) 341 set a 75% recycling goal for California by the year 2020. This law mandates that all Commercial business and public entities that generate four cubic yards or more of solid waste per week, and multi-family complex with five units or more, are subject to mandatory recycling and required to do one of the following:

  1. Separate recyclable materials from the solid waste that are discarded, and either self-haul or arrange for separate collection of the recyclables, or
  2. Subscribe to a service that includes mixed waste processing that provides diversion results comparable to source separation

AB 1826
In October of 2014, Governor Brown signed into law Assembly Bill (AB) 1826 requiring all businesses, including multi-family complexes, to recycle their organic* waste that are landfill bound. The full scope takes 5 years to implement by first targeting the largest waste generators. The implementation schedule for Businesses and multi-family complexes to have an organics recycling program in place is as follows:

  • April 1, 2016: Businesses and multi-family complexes generating 8 cubic-yards per week of organic waste.
  • January 1, 2017: Businesses and multi-family complexes generating 4 cubic-yards per weeks of organic waste.
  • January 1, 2019: Businesses and multi-family complexes generating 4 cubic-yards per week of solid waste.

*Organic waste includes food waste, green waste, landscape and pruning waste, nonhazardous wood waste, and food-soiled paper waste that is mixed with food waste.
